I was fortunate enough to be one of the twelve security officers from the Royal Liverpool Hospital to have been chosen to undertake three days of intense training on Anderson Consultancy's return visit after the success of the first course last year. Fantastic, fit for purpose, no nonsense training to equip staff for the harsh reality of a busy City Centre Hospital, we were taught about law then shown advanced techniques that with plenty of practice are easy to apply. I feel far more confident to deal with physical conflict and know what laws protect me when employing the skills we were taught. The instructors wealth of operational experience and knowledge was clear to see, the course was well structured and flowed at a steady pace, it certainly isn't a turn up and pass course.
